16/07/2010 - LAN CARGO signs with AFI KLM E&M for B.777 F component support and engine overhauls

 

Paris, Amstelveen, 16 July 2010 - AFI KLM E&M has won a component support contract for LAN CARGO Boeing 777 freighters and for the overhaul of their GE90-110 engines. Agreed in the framework of the Boeing 777 CSP partnership, the Components contract includes repairs for aircraft and engine components and pool access for routine replacements. The Engines contract was signed on a flight-hour basis with access to spare engines.

02/07/2010 - Renewal of Single & Global Certification for AFI KLM E&M

 

Paris, Amstelveen, 02 July 2010 - After many months of preparations and an external audit by five Bureau Veritas C auditors lasting eight days, Air France Industries has been able to renew its Single & Global Certification for three years. For the past three years, AFI KLM E&M has benefited from this certification dubbed "Single" because it concerns the whole of the French maintenance footprint, and "Global" because it embraces eight international benchmark standards.

04/06/2010 - Aeromexico again commissions AFI KLM E&M for B777 fleet maintenance

 

Paris, Amstelveen, 04 juin 2010 - The Mexican carrier has again signed up with AFI KLM E&M by extending the contract to maintain its fleet of B777s for a further two years. The first agreement, initialed in 2008, convinced Aeromexico - an AIR FRANCE KLM partner within the SkyTeam Alliance - to maintain the cooperation. It has accordingly decided to renew the partnership by entrusting the maintenance of its four B777s to AFI KLM E&M. All four aircraft will undergo a C-check at the start of the IATA year.

08/02/2010 - AFI KLM E&M modifies Dragon Air Leasing A320 for Chinese Airline

 

Paris, Amstelveen, 08 February 2010 - Dragon Aviation Leasing recently commissioned engineering and cabin modification work on an Airbus A320 from AFI KLM E&M on behalf of its Juneyao Airlines client. At the customer's request, AFI KLM E&M successfully took up the challenge of delivering the aircraft two weeks ahead of schedule while complying with the standards set by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and CAAC, the Civil Aviation Administration of China, so that Juneyao Airlines could operate it during China's peak holiday period.

Paris, Amstelveen, 23 September 2009 - Virgin Atlantic Ltd has extended its contract for heavy airframe maintenance on its B747-400 passenger jets. With the first agreement signed with Air France Industries and KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) in July 2008 due to expire on 31 December 2010, the UK carrier decided to extend the contract for a further year.

CRMA, as part of AFI KLM E&M worldwide network, has signed a contract with GE to become repair provider for the Engine Alliance GP7200 engine combustion chambers (CC) and turbine center frames (TCF). Kelowna Flightcraft has signed an exclusive 6-year contract with Air France Industries (AFI) and KLM Engineering & Maintenance (KLM E&M) to maintain the CF6-50C2 engines on its fleet of DC10-30 freighters. 14/01/2009 - Spairliners supports Qantas A380 fleet

Spairliners, a joint venture between Lufthansa Technik AG and Air France Industries, has started work on component support for the Airbus A380 with a contract from the Australian airline Qantas, a year before the first A380s are due for delivery to Lufthansa and Air France. The technical service agreement with the world's second-largest A380 customer calls for the repair and replacement of around 750 components held in readiness in the well-stocked Spairliners warehouse.
