AFI KLM E&M - Technical Training

 

AFI KLM E&M Training provides effective technical training programs for a large variety of aircraft types and engines. With over 50 years of training experience, we guarantee high quality throughout our training programs, which are designed to achieve an optimal balance between theory and practice. As an EASA Part 147 approved maintenance training organisation, we are approved to provide training and conduct examinations listed in the Terms of Approval and to issue related certificates of recognition to aircraft maintenance personal.

AFI KLM E&M Training offers continuous maintenance training and theoretical and practical Type Training in accordance with EASA Part66, along with engine runup training, and an extensive program of specialized training.

Type rating courses

 

The content of the type training courses meets PART 66/147 requirements.
European regulations define categories of certifying staff, each with their own designation, providing a readily understandable indication of their job function. These designations are:


Category B1 (T1): Maintenance certifying technician - mechanical
Category B2 (T2): Maintenance certifying technician - avionics

Basic maintenance training 
AFMAé, our partner, offers officially recognised basic training which meets the requirements for acquiring the Aircraft Maintenance Licence (AML).
AFMAé's initial and continuous training courses are in line with the international quality and procedural standards for the training of maintenance personnel as laid down in EASA Annex 3 (Part66).
AFMAé holds Part 147 and ISO 9001 accreditations for the Quality Management System, adopted to deliver and design training courses.


Structure and cabin maintenance & repair courses:
> SRM1/SRM2 composite: Basic structure design, damage assessment, repair instructions
> SRM1/SRM2 metallic: Basic structure design, damage assessment, repair instructions
