AFI KLM E&M delivers products and services in 12 Asian countries: China, Mongolia, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, , Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Hong Kong and Macau.

 

 



 

Commercial Presence


The company maintains a commercial presence in the region through its two sales offices. The first is located in Shanghai, where a staff of six ensure a continuous local presence for customers in Mongolia, South Korea, and China. The second representative office is located in Bangkok and takes charge of all customers operating from the banks of the Mekong and the South East Asian peninsula.

Some thirty of so customers throughout the region have recourse to AFI KLM E&M services, including:
China Eastern (engine support), Air China (component support), Shanghai Airlines (engine repairs), All Nippon Cargo, Vietnam Airlines (engines, technical assistance), Nok Air (multi-products).

 

An advanced logistics centre


To best meet the component requirements of its Asian customers as rapidly as possible, AFI KLM E&M operates an advanced logistics platform in Singapore, which handles storage and distribution of spares for Boeing 777s and Airbus A330. Spares for A320s are to be added shortly.

Naturally, with the support of the parent airlines and their Cargo arm, the Singapore platform is linked to the rest of AFI KLM E&M's global logistics network and to its Paris and Amsterdam main bases round the clock.

 

Adapting to specific customer expectations


One of AFI KLM E&M's great strengths is that it is an MRO operator backed by a leading airline. Such fleet management expertise means we have developed a high level of performance and considerable flexibility with respect to customer expectations. This gives us considerable ability to adapt which, for example, convinced Nok Air to opt for our services so that  AFI KLM E&M now provides full support for the airline's fleet of 737s from its Bangkok base.
